Formulations , you will be responsible for developing, preparing and testing proprietary liquid and solid formulations.
Responsibilities:
Conducting, with minimal or no direct supervision, laboratory formulation and testing of existing actives for field-testing.
Completing laboratory work involving the operation of physical/chemical testing instrumentation and the use of laboratory scale sample preparation equipment. (mixes/blenders/mills/extruders etc.)

Requirements
Experience:
5+ years experience in a chemical laboratory or pilot plant operation. Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical or consumer products industry preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory processing required.
Knowledge of pilot processing is desirable.
An understanding of basic chemistry and chemistry techniques is essential.
Accurate, neat and complete record-keeping is critical for work to be in compliance with GLP and other regulatory standards.
Experience with computer data-handling and tabulation is desired.
Computer skills such as MS Office, Access, and general familiarity with databases are required.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a flexible environment with multiple competing priorities.
Experience working under the Process Safety Code is desirable.
A familiarity with GLP regulation is a plus.

Description
The Formulations Chemist has the responsibility to help in developing new products that are competitive with the current market conditions through innovation, technology, and new business models. This role is part of the Crop Protection R&D group and the primary purpose of this role is to develop new and innovative agricultural chemical products and solutions through exploration and application of novel formulation science and technologies
Qualifications
BS (0-5 years experience) or MS (0-3 years experience) in physical chemistry, polymer chemistry, colloid and interface science, materials science, food science, chemical engineering, or related physical sciences is required.
Hands-on laboratory research experience is strongly desired.
Practical formulation research and development as well as formulation scale-up experience is desired but not required.

Sr. Ecotoxicologist
This position is for a senior level ecotoxicologist to provide expertise and advice to support the registration of agrochemicals and specialty chemicals worldwide. The incumbent will; advise management, registration and business teams on issues, regulations and project needs; evaluate ecological risk assessments critical to obtaining and maintaining global registrations and the right to sell.
The successful candidate will require a strong knowledge and understanding of ecology, regulatory ecotoxicology study guidelines, experimental design, GLP and regulatory compliance issues, implications of results to meet global agency requirements. This position reports to the Leader of Ecotoxicology and Risk Assessment.
Responsibilities will include:
Conceive, design and plan regulatory and /or non-standard ecotoxicity tests for aquatic (fish, invertebrates, algae), terrestrial (vertebrates and beneficial insects), and avian species based on literature reviews, in-house data, regulatory requirements and product safety concerns
Serve as Study Monitor for contracted ecotoxicology studies, including laboratory acute, chronic, lifecycle, and higher-tier (field) studies. This includes
Oversight of all aspects of study conduct at contract research facilities
Work with internal and contract quality assurance auditors to ensure GLP compliance
Ensure delivery of high-quality final reports on time
Work closely with internal, contract and exposure modeling/risk assessment scientists to understand potential hazards and risks of products to non-target species
Review and summarize ecotoxicological data and literature to prepare chemical monographs/dossiers
Prepare critical reviews, risk assessments, white paper advocacy documents, position statements related to products worldwide
Alert management and business customers about scientific and/or regulatory initiatives that could impact company products, registrations, and/or marketability.

Environmental Fate Chemist
Position Description:
The Environmental Fate Chemist will provide scientific and regulatory expertise and advice to support the global registration and defense of agrochemicals worldwide. The position requires a strong working knowledge of environmental fate and residue chemistry study types, experimental design, data/results analysis, and potential regulatory impacts to meet global agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Recommend residue and metabolism studies for soils, plants and animals for new product development based on global regulatory requirements (EPA, EU, OECD) at consulting laboratories.
Work with internal registration managers, scientists and contract experts and risk assessment to understand hazards and risks of agricultural products.
Serve as study monitor for contracted studies, including e-fate, residue, and metabolism studies.
Review and interpret E-fate, plant, and animal metabolism studies for understanding of the residues; identify relevant metabolites in the environment and work closely with toxicologist to provide acceptable exposure/risk assessments.
Conceive and design higher tier non-guideline studies to resolve regulatory questions globally.
Provides assessments of non-company chemicals regarding how their environmental properties will be viewed by regulatory authorities, especially with regard to current and future registration capability.
Lead model or direct modeling initiatives on the fate and effects of agricultural use chemicals.
Develop and perform risk assessments of toxicants, including mechanisms of action and exposure amounts, timing and bioavailability, and PBT characteristics.

Product Development Manager
This position reports to the Manager of Product Development, North America. The purpose of this position is to facilitate and oversee North American product development activities for assigned active ingredients, crop segments, geographic area, and product or customer specific initiatives.
This position works closely with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Formulations, and peer Product Development Managers along with Key Customers and Global Development to apply broad product development knowledge and prioritize product development investments. The position will have responsibility and accountability for prioritizing and implementing product development plans related to existing and new products for North America.
Responsibilities:
· Lead or co-lead development program designed to meet business objectives for assigned area of responsibility with internal resources, external research cooperators, and collaborators.
